Met-Sphere · iOS & Android
Met-Sphere is a countdown companion for the Las Vegas Sphere concert residency, designed to need as little of your data as possible. The countdown, widgets, reminders, and schedule never require an account and collect no personal information. One optional feature — posting to show photo galleries — uses a lightweight account, described below.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, device identifiers, or usage tracking. You can browse show galleries without signing in.
The following stays only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
You can clear all of it at any time by deleting the app (or, on Android, via Settings → Apps → Met-Sphere → Clear storage).
If you choose to post photos or react in a show gallery, you sign in with your email address (a one-time code — no password). We then store:
Photos you post are visible to other users of the app and are screened by an automated moderation check before going live. Content that breaks the house rules can be removed, and repeat violations can end posting privileges.
Deleting your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account) permanently removes your account, email, display name, photos, and reactions from our systems. You can also delete individual photos at any time.
If you report content or block another user, we store that report or block so we can act on it (reports are reviewed within 24 hours). Reports may be retained after the reported content is removed, as a moderation record.
The app fetches a public, read-only schedule of show dates, venue details, and links — and, for galleries, photo content — from our hosting provider (Supabase) over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Standard, non-identifying server logs (such as IP address and timestamp) may be processed transiently by the hosting/CDN provider to deliver the content; we do not use these logs to identify or track you.
Reminder notifications (e.g., "1 week before", "X days to go") are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. They are optional and can be turned off in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings. No notification data is sent to us.
Optional tips ("Support the App") are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details, and no purchase information is linked to you in our systems.
The app contains links to third-party services (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, ticketing, and the venue's website). When you tap a link, it opens in that service's app or your browser, and their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services.
The app is intended for a general audience of concert-goers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and posting the revised policy at this page.
Questions, takedown requests, or anything else? Contact us at support@snapapps.app. If you appear in someone else's photo and want it removed, email us — we act on those quickly.
